Well, not sure but it is in a different format. Year-by-year easy to follow playing historically.

Bruce is a Canandian Naval employee and was called to sea for the next 6 months. He probably took down all his web stuff to avoid the expense of keeping it up while he is gone. The links on HOOTP and OOTPLinks.com were the correct ones.

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

Sure Canada has a Navy silly, and as soon as their carpenters finish the hull it is going to be a great boat.
I hear they are recruiting for oarsman if anyone would like to sign up.

Strange trivia fact while we're on the subject of Canada's navy:

3rd largest in the world (supposedly) at the end of WWII.

Had a hard time believing it when I read it. Wonder what happened to it?

We have an air force too. In fact our air force is all set to help out in Afghanistan....well as soon as we can find someone to fly it over there.

We have more coastline to patrol than any nation in the world. Our navy consists of 1 guided missile frigate, 2 supply ships, 6 tuna fishing boats and 412 surfboards.

We have a Navy just up the river in the Quad-Cities - if you can call two riverboat casinos a Navy.

As for Year-to-year changes, www.baseball-almanac.com has tons of stuff on stadiums, team standing by year, and all sorts of interesting facts. I just saw a funny one. On May 16, 1902, two deaf mutes played on opposing teams for the first time in history when Dummy Hoy led off for Cincinnati against Dummy Taylor of New York!

Hey, you gotta give those Canadian Navy personnel credit. Not only do they need to be the captain, but also the gunner and engineer of the.....um...ship.

Not that I am trying to pick on anyone here, I am trying to help. Does Canada know that you can't sail from Canada to Afghanistan?

More on the Canadian navy....

This is the transcript of an ACTUAL radio conversation of a US
naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in
October, 1995.
************************************************** *****
Radio conversation released by the Chief of Naval Operations 10-10-95.
************************************************** *****
Americans: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the North to
avoid a collision.

Canadians: Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.

Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I repeat, divert YOUR course.

Canadians: No. I repeat, you divert YOUR course.

Americans: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER U.S.S. MISSOURI, WE ARE A LARGE WARSHIP OF THE U.S. NAVY. DIVERT YOUR COURSE NOW!

Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call.

(Note: This is actually a urban legend, pretty funny though)

Are they really trying to sail lighthouses now?
