So how do you think this conversation went? This is what I think:

Jerry: "C'mon Bill, coach the Cowboys. We need you to take us back to greatness, to get another SuperBowl ring, to help cement us as 'America's Team.'"

Bill: "And work for you, are you crazy?"

Jerry: "Are you sure?"

Bill: "Yeah."

Jerry: "Please!"

Bill: "No"

Jerry: "Aww, c'mon."

Bill: "No"

I picture this going on for all 5 hours. Jerry pleading and Bill laughing.

I'm quite sure that most people couldn't care less about Jones OR Parcells.........especially Jones and the 'Boys.

Yeah, the Cowboys are in the "Who gives a monkey's red, puffy ass" category along with the Yankees.

Parcells can't coach the cowboys anyways.
Someone who doesn't smuggle drugs or snort crack wouldn't fit in with that team.

Unfortunately, I started liking the Cowboys before Jones bought the team and Landry was coaching. I don't change loyalties so I am stuck liking 2 teams with crazy owners (Yep, I'm a life long Yankee fan too). Early 90s, my Cowboys won, then when they started to falter, my Yankees picked up, so the 90s was a good decade sports wise. But, with both wackos in firm control, who knows when I'll see another championship. Ah well.
