Just wanted to say hello to an old friend :)

Hey, everyone. I just wanted to give a shout out to the boards and to welcome the greatness of OOTP back into my life.

I was obsessed with this game back in the days of OOTP5 and OOTP7, but school and other responsibilities forced me to put it aside for a while, and I've been out of the loop ever since. But earlier this summer I received an e-mail about OOTP10 coming out, and I knew I had to get back on board. Just invested in a new computer, which is scheduled to arrive this week, and when it does, it's back to the OOTP glory days! I absolutely can't wait to get this started and to see all the new features added since I've been gone.

Yes, welcome back, 'ski. The minute I saw your name (can't recall your old avatar) I did recall what I thought was an endlessly curious, questioning, and critical mind. Quickly, I reviewed your old posts, at least the first 100 or less and confirmed the impression you'd left with me. Don't get me wrong, overall it's a good thing.

vX will offer much more fuel to your fire and provides a great deal of implementations on the order of satisfying, I'm betting, many of your past concerns and provocations for an improvement in many areas. I think, on a grand scale, you'll be pleased. In addition, I do hope you'll patiently present your new observations and critiques and participate wholly in discussions as they unfold. Your active, and usually reasonable voice, is just the kind of input to provide helpful overviews, especially fresh in light of renewed examination. It is timely, as well, as vXI discussions have already begun.

Good to see you again.

Welcome back, homie. I came back for X after being gone since 6.5 essentially. I was here for 2006, but lost interest real quick after release.

I stopped school and other things just so I could devote myself more fully to OOTP.
