I am happy to announce the addition of a brand new league to Big League Sports; "Big League Fictional Baseball". BLFB will use the game OOTPX and Dan Stamey will be Commissioner. Dan is a very experienced OOTP Commissioner, already having a few leagues he is in charge of. I am thrilled to bring Dan on board to run this new league. Here is some info on the league that Dan put together. Signups are underway!

It's 2009 and the fans of our great national pastime have had it with Major League Baseball. Whiny, overpaid baseball players playing for greedy owners in all of the big cities. It's time to return baseball to its roots where it is still a game played in small towns by our hometown heroes. Big League Fictional Baseball is a league that will bring back that small town feel for the game where anyone can afford to purchase tickets and enjoy a beer, the smell of real grass, in a small ballpark that makes it feel like you are on top of the field. How is this accomplished:

- Owners can place their teams anywhere they want (within the US and its territories).
- Owners can name their teams and provide their own logos for their teams
- Stadium capacities will be limited to a max of 15,000 seats
- Financials will reflect those of the current independent leagues. No million dollar contracts here.
- Fictional players that owners will need to get familiar with and form bonds with and eventually they become household names in the league

This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new league where you can build the base of your team through a 10 round initial draft. Build a team in your image in your hometown. Personalize your team and make it your own. No inheriting a roster of players but select the players that will take your team to the success you want.

We are halfway full, come on over to Big League Sports and join this new start-up league. You can completely customize and create your own team by naming it, creating a logo and then building it through the draft. Get in while you still can!

Get over a join up while you can. Teams have filled fast but now need 9 more to get it full. Im in a league Dan runs and he is an excellent top notch commish. Please come over and join and you will be happy you did.

The Tempe Wolfpack and Columbia Bombers are available in Big League Fictional Baseball. Both teams are in a pennant race (both are in the same division) and have strong teams. They just need solid owners to take them over.

If you take one of them over, you will be allowed to relocate them and any of the teams in the entire organization and provide logos and uniforms. You can also just leave them where they are.
