![]() I picked a kid first overall in one of my solo leagues a few years ago. All he needed was a year and a half in the minors before he was ready. I limited him in his first season (aged at 19) but then cut him loose and now he's gone and hurt his shoulder. I guess I'm being paranoid because of the whole overusing a youngster and killing his potential, since this injury isn't major, but i'm really hoping that I didn't like kill him. EDIT: He had a setback!!! This is killing me! Luckily I haven't seen any decline.

Hmmm..you never know. I don't know how the game's coded, but in RL the rule of thumb is ageX10=the very very maximum IPs for the youngsters, though personally I think that is a little high for both RL and the game.
