Other Reality Baseball seeks star GM's
Other Reality Baseball is a historical league that started with the 1982 season. We're currently 9 weeks into the 1983 season, and I am looking for one extremely active GM to take over a franchise.
We are looking for someone to come in like a ball of fire- taking charge of an outstanding franchise (which I'll tell you about upon replying), being creative, communicating on the forums and to other GM's, writing articles, basically contributing to the general well being of the ORB. We have a strong group of GM's. Some are veterans of the OOTP community, some are newcomers, but all are solid. You'll definetly enjoy this experience. As always, we welcome inquiries from those who would like to get involved but have a limited amount of time to offer. We are always willing to include those who would be interested in becoming Associate GM's or Columnists for the league. Steps: 1) Visit our WEB SITE! 2) Read a former forum thread, testimonials by ORB owners. 3) Complete the ORB Membership Application . If you have any further questions, PM me here or feel free to drop an email.

Good times, good owners, good commish, a new faster pace sim rate (now 3x per week!) This league has it all. Including ME! So if you've been trying for a while to get in a league with ME then here's your chance. Matt does a hellova job running the league (which is why I'm in it) and despite having one of the worst teams in the league, I still can't wait to see the results of each sim... gotta see if my Mess can dig themselves out of the gutter and if Dave Kingman can actually get some hits and RBI's (through 8/8/1983 he's batting under .200 with 25 homers and ONLY 50 RBI's - half his RBI total is him hitting himself in!)

This league rocks. Just don't expect to hit very well against the dominant pitching of the San Diego Padres!

This is a great league that is full of active, committed owners. If you have not yet played OOTP historical style, you definitely need to get in this league!
You also will not be disappointed with the quality of 2 teams now available. These are not cellar dwellers. You will have the time to get to know your guys as we begin the stretch run in the division races. Very active message board, great commish! (leagues prez is not too shabby either )

I am new to the league and pretty new to the game itself.
It is very well run with great owners. I would encourage anyone who is interested in an historical league to apply. |

i agree with what all others have said. I enjoy playing in the ORB just as much as any of the other leagues I'm in, including a couple of high profile leagues like the ABA and the NAHHBL. Matt's a great commish, and there's no question that he's in it for the long haul. If you want to join a solid 80's league, now's the time...

Thanks to all my owners for their plugs! I appreciate it!
Anyways, at this time we have filled all ownership roles. Don't let that stop you from getting involved. Come to the site, register for our forum, get involved. Be it as an Assistant GM, a Beat Writer, or just a fan, we'd love to have you check us out. Input is welcome as well. I'd like to know what everyone thinks of the ORB!
