What kind of help are you looking for? If you weren't saving periodically, you won't be able to recover anything that happened since the last save.

The crash report looks like one I've seen. At one point in the testing of OOTP10, I got a lot of these reports. I frankly don't know if these reports help with diagnosing the problem, but I think not.

Recently I've been having the occasional crash. I have the auto-save set to do fairly frequent saves. If you have a steady diet of crashing, post about it because it may mean you need to re-install some stuff or figure out if your saved game is corrupted.

Crash

I save every time I sim. It looks like if I go back to 11/30/2010 and move forward, it will go beyond 3/10/2011. Anything after that (which was 3 sims) and it crashes when I sim through 3/10/2011.

So, from your post Steve, I can only assume that there's no way to pinpoint the file that was corrupted using this crash report.

Keep in mind that I'm just another Mac user. It's just my impressions from working through a more serious crash problem during beta testing.

I assume you are playing version 16 or 18, in which case all the evidence is that the game is very stable, especially on the Mac (when I referenced some recent crash experience, I was talking about a patch being tested -- sorry if that might have caused any confusion). So whatever is going on is a localized problem of some sort.

It wasn't clear from your post if you had found a way to work around the problem or not. If not, you could try FTPing your file to the OOTP guys to look at. You could try some experiments of your own, but I wouldn't know what to suggest. Sorry.
