Argh- innings pitched in the sql/csv export
So the 'ip' column in players_game_pitching_stats is a tinyint, which means it shaves off the decimals .333 and .667 (for like 1.2 IP, etc).
Is there some way to obtain the decimals in the exported data that I' maybe missing? |

It's possibly there but your cells aren't formatted to show decimals. Highlight the cells, right click, and select format. Then choose the number format for decimals and how many places (in this case 3) you want after the point.

Do this where? In my DB server? That won't help with the data not being exported by OOTPx.

There's two innings fields. IP and IPF. IP is the number of innings. IPF is the fractional number of innings.
To get total IP, you should do (3*IP+IPF)/3. This is true in EVERY one of the data dumps that contain innings (all the fielding and pitching stats files). Example: A pitcher with 234 2/3 innings will have IP=234 and IPF=2.

In excel, or whichever spreadsheet you're using to open the CSV file.

Yep. I wrote the formula as above because I usually calculate the number of outs first to be used in other formulas.
