Unable to bring in new position players late in the game

I have a problem where sometimes I cannot put new positions players into a game. I have seen it happen twice now and do not know the full circumstances that trigger this bug. Attached is a shot showing the bug. You'll notice that there is a blank whole between "filter" and "scouting" where the option to show batters or pitchers should be. I know in V9 this same bug occurred on the Draft List screen and could be cleared by just clicking on a player and closing the player out. Doesn't work on this. And yes, I have the latest patch (I just downloaded the game Friday July 3rd).

If you are managing you own games, make sure you have substitions and defense strategy isn't set to let the AI do it. It's in the options section.

This happens a LOT more than it used to in v8 and v9, albeit with a lower crash rate. I knew if that popped up in previous versions, the game would crash if you tried to switch tabs again. It's only crashed once in v10, but it happens a lot more often and is VERY annoying.
