Too many LHB in Fictional Leagues
This problem has been around since v6. Very disappointing that it still comes up.
IRL LHB historically make up 27% to 32% of MLB players. In 2009 129 of 422 players with at least 50 PA are LHB. This is 30.6%. My current solo league shows a range of LHB from 38.7% to 41.6% depending on PA used. That is not realistic at all and surely is a high priority bug for all fictional players.

How many seasons has your league simmed?
Basically, is this a league creation issue, a player creation/development issue, or both? |

Seven seasons. My guess is that it is a league creation issue but a test league should tell us the whole story.

In my fictional league, I have 117 out of 369 batters as LHB. that's 31.7%.
I'm in season four. I took a look at my feeder leagues that completely populate my draft. Out of those: Feeder 1: 117/416 = 28.1 Feeder 2: 104/352 = 29.5 Feeder 3: 100/416 = 24.0 Feeder 4: 128/525 = 24.3 Total: 26.2% in all my feeder leagues. So overall, I'm not seeing what RchW is. I'm not sure what's going on in your league - maybe just a short-term fluctuation? |

Since we haven't heard of any negative results in future testing, we'll assume that this was an isolated incident and close out this thread for now. If you have any further trouble with this matter, please post in Tech Support. Thanks.
