Game 1
Code:
Monday, April 6th, 2009 R H E Detroit Tigers 7 11 1 Toronto Blue Jays 4 11 2 L: R. Halladay (0-1) SV: B. Seay (1) Homeruns --------- DET: B. Inge (1), M. Thames (1) TOR: NONE Things started off very poorly in this one as Halladay was very off with his pitches. He didn't pitch very well adn got lit up for 4 runs in the first with a long home run by B. Inge. He pitched a little better after that but the damage was done. ALex Rios was by far the best Jay as he went 4-4 and scored 2 runs but was sloppy in the middle innings and got caught trying to score on a double. Up next is game 2 vs Detroit and Zach Minor (0-0) will go up against David Purcey (0-0) |

Game 2
Code:
Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 R H E Detroit Tigers 4 11 1 Toronto Blue Jays 12 15 0 LP: Zach Minor (0-1) HOMERUNS DET: M. Cabrera (1), M. Thames (2) TOR: A. Hill (1), S. Rolen (1), A. Rios (1) POG: S. Rolen 3-5, 5rbi HR Again, we gave up 3 runs in the first but this time it was a 3-run bomb by Marcus Thames that landed 445ft away from home plate. We came back in the 1st and scored 6 on some great baseball moving runners around and hitting singles and doubles. Jays showed a little more power this game too hitting 3 homers. Next Up, Game 3 vs Detroit. Rick Porcello (0-0) for DET and Jesse Litsch (0-0) for TOR |
