OOTPX: Changes to the injury related dev hits logic?

Have there been changes to the OOTPX dev hits logic that would allow for a greater chance of a dev hit based on how serious the injury was? I am pretty certain that for OOTP9 it was a straight 75% of dev hit on any injury, regardless of how serious the injury was. I have seen references to a change in this area of the new game, but would love to get some confirmation on this if anyone knows about this.

Thanks!

You mean like my 24 year old starting pitcher out for 2 weeks with a bruised cheekbone downgrading from 6-8-6 to 4-6-4, while my 7-8-8-8 OF who is out for 9 months with "back spasms" upgrades?

Heh, well I am pretty certain there was never a positive dev trigger with any injury, but yeah, there were a lot of complaints about the pseudo career ending day-to-day injuries in OOTP9 (AKA 'death from 1000 cuts' dev hits). I swear I saw references to this game dev logic being changed when OOTPX was released, but checking back now I can't find them, and this issue is not specifically mentioned in the official features/changes blurbs for the game.

That's called the "two week injury of death".

OOTP kills people more with two-week injuries more than anything else.

My favorite is a long-term lump due to a finger blister.

That sounds like a confirmation, and if so that is great news.
