Problem with Position Ratings

Just upgraded to 10 and did my first custom league by doing an inaugural draft. The first year went fine, but once the first year was over, many position players defensive position ratings were reduced to below 6 or in some cases completely eliminated. I kept the default 1-20 scale and only players with no prior MLB stats kept decent position ratings.

Example: Jose Reyes went to a rating of 2 at short stop. Furcal went to a 3. But computer generated 1st or 2nd year players still maintained reasonable position ratings that went all the way up to 20.

Weird.

I just created a new league with more simple settings and the same thing happened again. I even used the setting that sets the position ratings based on the imported year (not the 3 year average), because I thought that might be the issue.

I can give screenshots too...

The patch seemed to fix this problem at first as this issue did not occur after the first year, but it did resurface between years 2 and 3 of a new custom league.

Help...

Are you playing in a historical league?
