One small complaint...

It has to do with the Lineup and the Pitching screen where your rotations and your starting lineups and depth charts are set. I want my lineup screen to show only Batters with batting stats or ratings and the Pitching screen to show only pitchers with pitching stats or ratings in the large space above. I don't know why the game can't be set to allow any return to these screens to show exactly as they were when you last left. Sort of like stickyed. Nobody wants to go to the lineup screen to make ajustments in their deptcharts to always find Pitchers listed above. It is a small thing that causes extra mouse clicking but it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to implement.

It does get annoying hitting my pitching staff page and seeing hitters (and only hitters) listed half the time.

I do this all the time too. I don't know why it doesn't stick, or for that matter why you can even select pitchers on the lineup screen or batters on the pitching screen. This would be awesome if it were changed.

The buttons on the bottom of your screen, the ones you can click to take you to your pitcher screen or your lineup screen -- click it once to get to the screen, then click it again and each screen will then display pitchers in the one case, or batters in the other. Don't know why it works this way, but you quickly get used to using this trick.

Hope that helps.

It does, thanks. Hope that's not the way it was designed though.

OOTP has had this problem for some time and it has been pointed out in previous versions. Obviously hasn't been fixed yet though. I've just gotten used to double-clicking the buttons when I'm using the pitching or batting icons at the bottom of the screen.

The reason you can select them on each screen is because in the end it is your decision where each player plays.

I am doing PbP managing for the first time, and since I started out in rookie league I would be lost without being able to move players around (pitchers as hitters or otherwise).

My wonderful owner left me with only 10 position players, and we all know how long it takes for people to get hurt, lol. Thankfully after my starting shortstop and third basemen went down in the first week, and after my team leader in about 14 different categories went down for the season in my 20th game, he decided it would be nice to actually supply me with a 4th outfielder...

Sorry for the hijack
