Duplicate Player Names

I'm having a weird issue. I created a fictional league and before assigning any players to any teams I took a look at the 60,000 player database and noticed there were a ton of duplicate names. The strange thing is that they all seem to be aged 9 - 14 years old. Those older than that are only in there once. I don't intend to use anyone under 16 in any of my leagues, but in a few seasons when these guys age a bit and become eligible for the draft, won't I have duplicate players in the draft?

I wouldn't care if just the names were same. The fact is that each duplicate name also has an identical birth date, ratings, etc.

Anyone have any idea or ever seen anything like this? All I did was create a fictional league without filling any teams or adding any players to the FA pool. They were all there after the league creation. I'll try to post some screens later tonight if that might help figure out the issues I'm having. Thanks for any help.

If anyone needs more information I would be happy to give it to them...The database is what came with the game. I made no alterations to it whatsoever.

Hmmm...have you checked your name data files? Now that I think about it that wouldn't be it. Sounds like your database may be corrupted. You should post this issue in tech support for immediate help.

Thanks for the help. It seems that after re-loading and editing my template more than a handful of times caused things to go nuts. I spent most of yesterday creating another template and it looks like I am good to go now.
