Players not playing in new position
I drafted a player who was not good enough on D to play SS, I made him a RF as he is a big guy. In the minors he does not play at RF at all. He should be learning this position as he will play it in the bigs.

If you are that A ball team's major league affiliate, it should work just fine. Did you give it a try?
