Minor league active player limits

Didn't see it posted. If it was. Oops!

While working with minor league promotions/demotions on the transactions screen. My AAA active roster is set for 30 player limit. I had 30 players (30/30) and put two injured players onto the DL then it showed 28 players (28/30). Do minor league DL's come off the active roster? Then I added 4 players (32/30) and hit Finish Today a couple of times. I thought this may have given an error message or maybe crash the game. No problem though.

Historical league, started in 1901, presently in June 1904.

Did the AI shuffle stuff around for you (i.e. do you still have 32/30 players after simming a day)?

Also, is it during the season? It may not error if it in the offseason.
