2009 sim results.

Just got the game and thought it might be interesting to see how the pennant races panned out with the new 2009 rosters. Results:

The Mets had a nice 6.5 game lead in early September and actually didnt collapse this time. Must be the additions of Krod and Putz. Not surprisingly the Cubs and Aaron Heilman had a losing record. lol

The Mets faced the Yankees in the Series and the Yanks won in 7........

An interesting tidbit:

Trevor Hoffman retired on 8-28-09

I'll log this as a bug

Pretty decent results. Couple oddities like the Orioles finishing 2nd and Swisher leading in HRs, but nothing crazy. Thanks for posting!

Wow, there is a big difference between leagues in terms of leaders. Does that seem normal? NL HR leader at 55 and AL HR 38.

Billy Butler taking AVG, OPS, and VORP titles is a bit odd.

Ok. if you say so.

Wasn't trying to knock anything, I guess I just never realized that there was that large a gap between the leagues in terms of statistical leaders.

Its because of the DH. The DH ruins everything

Ugh. I tend to get more fired up about this issue than most political ones.

IRL Swisher is on pace to hit about 30 homers, so I wouldn't say it's that strange.

Every once in awhile Michael Bourn will have a year where he stays healthy and hits well enough to stay in the lineup to get an incredible amount of steals. I think that happened twice in my many sims during beta. Most of the time it is Reyes with closer to 60.

LOL!

That is good.

I am so chomping at the bit to get out of work and home to play.
Sucks having to work to support a family.

Trevor.
