OOTP4 Gazette?

Can someone tell me where I can find the OOTP4 Gazette Utility? The one that generates a page for each day of your season and you can see news/standing/injuries and stuff like that?

I had it before but had to reformat my HD and have no idea where I got that utility.

OK, I got that DL'ed and I no whave two questions.

#1 would be how do I get this onto my website? What files/folders do I need to upload to it?

#2 When I want to update this, will I have to "Go to Presses" from opening day or just from the last day that I stopped from?

Example: My league is on July 1, 2002 and I am gopign from opening day to July 1. Now say I sim two more weeks tomorrow, will I have to go from opening day til July 14th or just from July 1 to July 14th?

Thanks for any help.

After each sim you have to generate EVERY boxscore from the whole season from the Master HTML screen.

Once that's finished, go to the Gazette .exe file and run the utility, it will create the folders.

Then you just upload them just as you do all the other reports and place a link to the index page of the Gazette somewhere on your site.

In addition to manually adding a link to your site, the Gazette will create a link in the OOTP generated league.htm file

You say it will create the folders. As far as I can see, there is only one folder, Gazette2002. Is this the folder you are talking about? There is a bunch (about 90) html files in there with my team info txt. Do I just upload this whole folder, creat a link to it on my leagues main page and it'll all run smoothly?

Yep. It creates that folder inside the HTML reports folder that you create using the Master HTML function of the game.

There is an HTML report for every day of the season in that folder.

Just upload all the contents in that folder to the place that you want them on your webspace, place a link to the index.htm and you can go to any of the reports from there.

**Remember**
You already have an 'index.htm' report for your leagues standings report, so all this gazette stuff should go in its own folder somewhere on your webspace.

OK, nevermind the previous post. I figured that part out. Here's a good one though. Is there any way I can change the colors of the background/text in this program for the pages it creates?

I believe you need to upload everything that is in the folder where you saved OOTP's html output. That would include the html files you generated with OOTP4 as well as the newly generated gazette pages. I think that may include a subfolder with the name "gazetteXXXX" (where XXXX is the current year).
