Depth chart changes on it's own
I have started a game that all I do is manage, right not I am play a short A team that I took over in mid season.
The problem is every few days the GM gives me new players and half the time the charts remain the same and just have holes where the player that left was, and the other times they go ahead a rework every position, and shuffle around players that stayed. Is there a way to only take out the players that left always? I useally have a complex chart where people start every few games, and some people play vs left and right pitchers. then one day people change and everything gets shuffled :/ the last time I got some new pitchers and the shuffeled my rotation to were the guy that pitched yester is the new starter....it bugs me greatly Thanks for any suggestions to fix this

I hate to say it, but playing as a minor league manager is a waste of time in this game right now. Go play the pros, that is probably the best way to fix it.

I kind of like the minors, and the idea of working your way up, I have a GM/manager game, and it is ok but I like developing players and all, the only thing I do not like is the depth charts reording sometimes and other times not.

As far as I know, there is no work around for you.

I'll just save some screen shots of them, then I can put it back how they were, if it messes up

I've never tried playing as a minor league manager, so I don't know if this will work, but when you manage a big club, there is a flag you can set to disable any moves from being made on all you minor league teams.
It's accessed by going to the 'Home' tab of the team, and then clicking on 'Options & Ballpark'. The flag is called 'Prevent any AI roster changes'. I like to micromanage my minors and find that setting this flag keeps the AI from making any depth chart/lineup/pitching roles changes in my minors. Maybe it'll work for your situation as well.

This is exactly what I would suggest, and I think that starting in the minors and working your way would be a fun, noble approach.

I am not finding any options in the Options & Ballpark setting but changing colors of my team and names and such? Am I in the wrong place? I even started a new game as an MLB GM just to see and did not find it.

Treedom is exactly right, this toggle is just where he says it is. As Kelric said, you must be in "Commissioner mode" to change this.
