Inability to play after creating league/manager

Hey- to anyone that can help.

I recieve a program crash error after i start up the league, go through league creation and manager creation. it occurs after the scouting players for X team loading screen. the error msg from Vista is as follows:

I don't know if that Problem signature helps. But I love this game oh so much, and if anyone has any solution that would be awesome. =] thanks so much.

Just to add to this, I've reinstalled the game multiple times and it always comes back with the same error.

sorry- more to add to this. I've been looking into this problem in past threads and it seems as though a lot of concern is being shown to the antivirus software running. I'm not running any.

Intel Core 2 Duo
3 GB of RAM
32-Bit
GeForce 8600M GT

my specs.

Whenever I run OOTP9 I am doing so without any other programs running. The background processes are minimally taxing the memory but I continue to encounter the problem.

FINALLY- I'm trying to create games now with FaceGen disabled but OOTP9 continues to crash upon creation/load

If the crash always happens after the scouting process, maybe you could try creating a league with scouting disabled?

Have you tried running FaceGen in one of the two troubleshooting modes, rather than disabling it?
