Pitchers Flaming out
I'm in my fourth season with my 2011 phillies team, and the way that pitchers seem to peak and drop has started to bug me a little bit. Over the past couple seasons I've noticed that the Cy Young has been won by a rookie or up and comer right from the minors with monster stats, only to find himself "flaming out", and becoming a horrible pitcher a year or two later. While this can happen in real life, Hop on the D-Train anyone?, it still goes against the fact that typically a pitcher who wins the Cy Young at a young age, or any point in his career for that matter, usually goes on to have at least a somewhat decent mlb career. Hell even Kenny Powers lasted till he was 34. What say you guys?

I have reduced my talent randomness factor well below 100 (sometimes below 50). It might seem less realistic to some, but I do enjoy having some known element attached to the name of today's players so I don't always have to click on their names to see what ratings they have. I like knowing that Grady Sizemore is a good player just by name association. Maybe it's just my general desire to have a little more order amidst the chaos.
