Can't figure out a few things...

Alright i have the demo version and i believe i have figured out how to make my custom league with mlb players. However, i want the ability to control all teams and trade and sign freely without worrying about money. Is this possible? Can I force free agents to sign with my team, and not even worry about money? Can i just turn off the financial aspect?

I looked there but i still can't figure it out. Yes, it says enable financials, but i cannot uncheck the box...it wont let me.
Also, i still have no idea how to force a free agent on to my team.
Anybody know?

FA can only be enabled/disabled during the off-season or pre-season. (One of the two)

When you open an FA's player card, click on the edit tabe (must be in Commish mode), then about halfway down the left hand column there is a drop down where you can place him on any team you like.

The autosave is still giving me trouble. I see the options for it and the best is once a year. However, it still auto saves every time i exit the game. How can i possibly take the autosave out all together?

You cannot disable the auto-save feature. It will save everytime you exit.
