Thumbs up

LOL, nice!

I actually was going to respond that I wonder if K-9 fights Cotto next if he wins but see you beat me to the punch.

Isn't Price fighting Thompson this weekend? If so, I'm picking Price by KO in 5 or under, unless Thompson gets on his bicycle and runs and runs....

Yeah he is, I have the same prediction. Glazkov is also fighting Scott on NBC network.

Is that the regular NBC network or some pay channel? We get the NBC feed from someplace in New York. I checked the schedule and don't see any boxing.

Cap

P.S. Any way to watch Price vs Thompson live via the interweeb?

Hey Cap,
Glazkov vs Scott is on the NBCSHD (NBC sports HD) channel at 7pm here on the westcoast of these United States. I don't know what type of provider you have, but I have DirecTV. The NBC sports is on channel 220 here.

NBC Sports is part of a more expensive package than I have here. Guess I'll wait for Youtube again.

Well that sure didn't happen. Price exposed as a talentless shill. Thompson hit him with one little glancing right hand and after Dave got up his legs were GONE!!! Props to the british crowd for giving Tony a begrudging round of applause when the result was announced, after booing the american national anthem before the fight. Let's hear it for the old guys!!!!

It's NBC Sports on regular cable. It used to be versus. Starts at 10:30. Sorry I missed this, hope you got a stream. Price got owned.

Wow! I expected that Price could take a few. Thompson was in awful shape, ready to lose, but when he saw what he had in front of him he took advantage. Price has got to work on his Klitschko routine, improve his jab and clinching. The ainglishman was not ready for a top ten heavy, even if it was Tony Thompson. I think Fury would not do any better.

Fury is better than Price. I stated this earlier in another thread. Fury has the ability to fight inside which is almost a lost art in the heavyweight division. Fury gives any heavyweight a tough time and beats all but two or three of them.

He has chin issues too. I wouldn't be surprised if Cunningham beats him.

Neven Pajkic, the Canadian champ is not a big banger, but he put Fury down hard with one right hand and had Fury hurt again in the same round. You get a heavyweight with decent defence, constructive aggression and some pop in his right hand, and Fury is in trouble. The win over Price will give Thompson a huge boost in confidence and I'd be shocked if Fury's people sign to fight him.

Just watched rounds 7 through 10 of the Vyacheslav Glazkov vs Malik Scott fight on Youtube. How was Glazkov doing earlier on? I didn't hear too many boos from the crowd when they announced a draw. I'm amazed that Malik has been fighting for 12 years as a pro and this might be the first time I've seen him. This kind of thing really hurts boxing. How can you build more than a local following if the only time a fighter is shown is on a ppv or specialty channel like NBC Sports? If it wasn't for Youtube a guy could think that these fighters are a fig-newton of some writer's imagination...

I checked both of the major Toronto Dailies today. Not so much as a comma about boxing. However, the Sun had a full-page on some slap and tickle MMA jamokes.
