Awards Missing from Almanac and History

OOTP9 (9.2.11 - final patch)

I did a search on the Tech Forum and got no threads that matched.
I also searched OOTP9 Forum, too.
I also scanned the Tech Forum thread.
I found nothing related to my problem.

I just converted 2007 to OOTP9.
It seems to have gone well except the Almanac and History do not show the award winners. All you see is () where the info should be.

This was undoubtedly caused by 2007 as the awards were missing there, too.
There were news stories for each award, but they were not noted in the History or the Almanac.
I let the computer choose the winners, but then edited them to the choices I wanted. I then hit "Finish" on the manual award screen.

Anyone know the cause of this? Is there an almanac setting that needs to be checked on the profile list?
Is it possible to edit the Awards and include the winners names?

I found the history file in the game, but it had nothing in it.
Help would be appreciated.

EC, did you advance to next year's preseason yet? If not, a few items aren't immediately added to the league history and won't show up until you do.

I think the date is January 3, which should be the pre-season.

I hope you are right. I will advance it to opening day and see if it shows up.

Markus posted on the Discussions Forum that it couldn't be in the converted league (OOTP9) since it was not in V2007.

I realize that. But why wasn't it in V2007? I checked History in the Almanac profile.

I remember the first year we had the almanac that it was difficult to get the items you wanted.

In Game Setup... Almanac options... I checked "Archive HTML reports annually".
What is the toggle button "Standard Profile 'complete almanac' "for?
What is the toggle button "Standard Profile "box scores and game logs only' " for?
Clicking on them doesn't seem to do anything.

That was the problem.

I advanced it to the pre-season and all of the awards suddenly appeared.

Hardly a genius. I've just run into these things a few times myself.

I'm glad that you've got things figured out now. I have no idea about the almanac settings, but I believe that you've moved past that now. I'll close out this thread since you seem to be all set.
