Need Some Guidance to Upload and Unzip
I am new to OOTP and just joined Hardball Heroes. I've download the file from the league and was told to unzip an upload to OOTP. I downloaded the test trial from winzip and downloaded it. However, I can't figure out how to unzip it. When I "open" the file, I am told it cannot open.
Can you assist me with how to do this? Also, once this is done, where do I upload it onto the OOTP site? I have played several years of sim sports, but am new to OOTP. Sorry if these are basic and stupid questions. I would appreciate any guidance. Thanks, BC |

You'll probably want to right click the file and "Open with" Winzip. Depending upon the file format, you may need a program such as 7-zip instead. You'll probably want to discuss this with your commissioner.
Once you've unzipped your files, you'll likely be left with a folder ending in ".lg". You want to put that folder into your OOTP Baseball 9\data\saved_games folder. That way OOTP will be able to find your saved game. You don't want to upload anything to the OOTP site. You just want to open up the saved game from within OOTP 9. You can import new files from your commissioner when he posts them up (usually on a regularly scheduled basis) and you can export your team files back to the commishes after you've made any changes. |
