whats the best way to get players from one league into a new league?

I want to take all the players in my solo league into a new league format.

What's the best way to do this?

is there a way that preserves the player's histories?

Basically I want to take my 20 team league and make it 40 teams with a few tweaks to settings I had initially made. I know I will need to generate some fictional players to make up the difference, but I want my guys available in an inaugural draft.

should be able to go under game setup and export rosters. then load the new league file with all set ups. Go to game setup in that file and import rosters. Then click relase all players and hold draft. That should do it...and then add fictional players if needed.
