When do I make this change?

I am managing the Yankees in the 2008 season. Right now, I'm 1 win away from sweeping the World Series and am starting to think about 2009.

As an aside, yes, I know what happened the last time the Yankees were up 3-0. Actually, in my universe, the last time the Yankees were up 3-0 in a series was the 2008 ALCS and we completed the sweep. So, the 2004 ALCS is just a distant memory.

Getting back to my question, I think I want 2009 to be a lively ball year. Is there any deadline as to when I need to go into the league settings and import the settings from my chosen year in order for that to go into effect for 2009?

You won't be able to import settings for 2009 since it hasn't happened yet.

I meant that I want my 2009 season to be something like a 1998 offense year.
