game does not advance

i just finished my game on august 1st and clicked finish today but when i do nothing happens, it doesnt advance it just stays on that screen. i exited the game and restarted and still nothing, does anyone know what could be the problem?

Are you using the demo or the full version of the game? If the latter, which version?

I'm using the Demo for now because I wanted to get a feel for the game but it said I could play 1 and a half seasons but I've hit a wall

Are you playing a league with history in it, like an MLB league? If so, you can only play partway through a season. If you want to play a full year and a half, you need to start a new league with no history to it. Sorry.
