Why Trades Past Deadline?

I kept the trade deadline setting at 31 July, but I'm getting trade proposals--and other teams are trading--even in August. Any ideas why? Thanks.

If you have minor leagues and waivers enabled, then players can still be traded but they must all clear waivers before the trade happens. The 31st July deadline is strictly the "non-waiver trading deadline"

Trades can be completed after the deadline if you waivers on.
