Crash when clicking on J. Unknown

Running the latest patch and have had no problems with the game until this morning. I am running a historical league (1901 - 1st season) with one level of minors. I just received an e-mail indicating that my AAA 3rd baseman had a 6 hit day. One of the sentences of the e-mail said that my guy hit a grand slam in the 9th off of J. Unknown.

I clicked on the link for J. Unknown (the supposed pitcher) and it takes me to a player page for a left fielder. I was a little intrigued by this so I began to click on different parts of the J. Unknown player card. When I clicked on the nationality flag it crashed. I reloaded the game and went to J. Unknown player card and clicked on the flag again - same result. Reloaded game again, clicked on flag, crash.

So aside from the obvious point of not clicking on J. Unknown's nationality flag - any idea why this is happening and if this is a known issue. I did not turn anything up in a search of boards.

You have ghost players turned on, yes? Joe Unknown would be a ghost player.

Out of curiousity, which flag was it?

Thanks for the TT on this one. Here is a screen shot of the player page that is linked from the e-mail. I am not sure why it is showing a Joe Unknown pitcher for my team as opposed to the opposing team's Joe Unknown SP as it was when I first reported the problem. As you recall, the first few times the link was taking me to the player page of the opposing team's LF - STRANGE. The nationality flag has been the same though in all of the links:

For information purposes only, I had the exact same thing happen rught down to the flag.
