Rookie Eligibility

Is this something that I can manipulate (where would I do that?)? For some reason my "rookies" don't always count as rookies.

For example, one of the players that recently won Rookie of the Month had 93 at bats last year. Wouldn't that have counted him as a rookie last year?

I think they keep their rookie eligibility unless they go over 130 AB's
