question about hotseat mode

Can someone please give me some details about how the hotseat (head to head) gameplay mode is implemented in OOTP9?

Specifically, I am interested to know how to competing players can play a game on the same computer, while still keeping the element of surprise (i.e. pitch out, bunt, etc.). Do the managers take turns selecting their options while th eother manager looks the other way? Does each manager have a set of buttons on the keyboard that are their controls so they can pick plays simultaneously?

In general, how is hotseat implemented, and how smooth/easy is it to play games this way?

31 views on this (so far) and no one has any information about this? I will probably be buying the game soon enough and will find out myself, but i still would like to know (because I'm inpatient like that

There is no official head-to-head play built into the game. The best you can do might be described in this thread from last year; I believe it's still true in the current version:
