Patch posts are confusing.

Please take all the patch posts off because its hard to figure out what is up with the patch and then post once to tell us that the new patch is ok

I was going to recommend that too.

Ouch. I felt that. Some of my best recent posts were in that patch thread that battists just deleted.

I don't think he deleted it, just renamed it.

I have to admit, I'm confused too. A new patch comes out, but then Markus says not to install some patch, wait for later. Battists (I guess) renames a thread which makes the stuff in it no longer applicable. patch 3 = patch 9.1.1 or something or another. Are we still waiting for a new patch tonight and if so what patch #s is that one? How many patches have I downloaded in the last couple days and which is which? Should I really get the full install or just exe? Oy. Why am I even worrying? I haven't even really played OOTP9 yet. I should just wait until the next major patch. But I was waiting for the last major patch.

No, I deleted it (permanently), which was stupid, because I needed some of the info Markus posted.

Sorry 1998 Yankees, too many nights without sleep lately.

I was only joking, of course. Good job all around: you, MH, AR. Thanks to all for what appears to have been a very late night. My OOTP joy has returned in full measure.

No worries, Battists, he's never has a "best" post anyway.

One of my favorite quotes. Another good one of his is "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

He also said that "Democracy is also a form of worship. It is the worship of Jackals by Jackasses."
