We're at the ammy draft and the following clubs have just come open:

Belle Vue Brawlers - solid club with a good shot at making the post season. An active owner might be all this team needs...

Toronto Rage - under achieving team that currently has the 10th pick in the ammy draft along with the 20th ranked farm system in the league. An active owner could make a run for a division title in perhaps the weakest division in the league.

Texas Chupacabra - worst record in the league to this point, but top pick in the ammy draft to go along with the 8th ranked overall farm system in the league. Good foundation for an active owner to build upon.

We've got a great group of active owners and would like a few more to fill the above clubs. If interested, please take a look at the teams and drop me an email with the following info:

The Rage had a good ammy draft, moving from the 20th ranked system to the 13th overall now. This is a solid club in need of an active owner...

We've hit the play-offs in our initial season and a couple owners have decided not to return. The rest of our owners have until the WS sim to post their intentions for the next season. I'm certain we'll have a few more openings at that time as well.

We're currently looking for owners for the Spokane Communists, Perth Heat and Milwaukee Blue Ribbons. Spokane made the play-offs this season and Perth was in the hunt until the final couple of weeks. Milwaukee is more built for the future with a strong farm system. Please take a look at the site and if interested, send me an email with the following info:

Our initial season is officially over as the Chicago Northsiders defeated the St. Petersburg Flamers in 6 games to win our first World Series. With that said, the following clubs are now officially open to new ownership:

1. Spokane Communists - Won division, a solid and balanced club all around.

2. Seattle Celtics - Lead their division until the final weeks of the season before injuries took their tolls. Another solid club with great pitching.

3. Perth Heat - Finished 2nd in a tough division, but battled the division winner all the way until the final weeks of the regular season. This club has one of the top pitchers in the league.

4. Milwaukee Blue Ribbons - 2nd worst record in the league, but one of the top farm systems in the league to build upon. If you like challenges, this team could be for you.

5. Texa Chupacabra - 3rd worst record in the league, but another strong farm system to build upon. Again, if you like a challenge, this could be a good club to take over.

6. Dodge City Marshals - 3rd best record in the league at 97-65. Another solid club that is ready to compete now.

7. Thunder Bay Border Cats - Worst record in the league at 51-111. This club is a mess and it will take a strong owner to turn things around.

Since we're in the off-season, I'm not opposed to letting a new owner move or rename a club. If interested, send me an email with the following info:

Thanks.

Had a new owner switch teams after looking things over a bit more. Spokane now taken, but Dodge City is available again...

1. Seattle Celtics - Lead their division until the final weeks of the season before injuries took their tolls. Another solid club with great pitching.

Texa Chupacabra need an active owner. This club had the 3rd worst record in the league last season, but have a strong farm system to build upon. If you like a challenge, this club is for you.

The Texas Chupacabra just came open again. The owner that had signed up realized he didn't have time for the league. If you like challenges, this team could be for you. They had the 3rd worst record in the league, but do have a strong farm system to build upon.

Season 2 opening day is scheduled for this Wednesday, 12 March 2008. If someone takes them before opening day, they can relocate/rename the club for this season.
