Where can i get advice about how to run an online league?
I would really like to run my own online league, but do not know the technical side of uploading data and so on, any advice on how everything is run on the technical side?

Pages 438-456 of the OOTP8 manual do a pretty good job of describing the various technical aspects of coordinating an online league.

Capelli,
I would suggest that you become really comfortable with the game and that you make sure you have enough time to dedicate to the league before tackling being a commissioner. As a commish of a 6.5 league and a co-commish of a 2007/2008 league, just be aware it's not as easy as it may seem. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to convince you to NOT start a league. I'm just saying you should get as prepared as you can before attempting to do so. Otherwise you'll have 29 other owners very upset if/when it's too much for you to handle and you have to shut it down quickly. Just some friendly advice is all .... Jason |
