Historical League Totals
Has anyone else seen this? I started a new fictional league in 1871 and I'm importing historical league finances and PCM's and also league totals. Everything updates, but all of the league total modifiers remail at 1.000. I've even tried to import from 1901, and again, everything else updates but the league total modifiers still remain at 1.000's across the board. Anybody know what the deal is? I haven't started my league yet, so I don't know what kind of stats this will produce.

All initial seasons start with league modifiers at 1.00 If you have auto-adjust modifiers on then they will kick in at year 2. This is why initial season stats can be very far off. The modifiers don't kick in until year 2.

Any reason for this?

It has to do with how OOTP works internally. It was brought up during testing. From what I recall Markus said he had a couple of ideas of how the problem might be solved, or at least made more acceptable. Can't remember though if it was doable in a patch or would have to wait for OOTP 10...

If modifiers are recalculated monthly instead of yearly this problem would not occur and historical totals would be much closer EVERY year. I have been doing this by hand for the since ver 6.0 and with monthly modifier recalc I can ALWAYS beat the Garlon yearly recalc by big bunches of accuracy. And a big bunch of accuracy is a good thing. And I've got it. I am a MAN!!!! (unless my wife reads this in which case I didn't mean it.)
