Historical League with Negro League players

I'd like to create a "What-If" League as if the Negro League players were able to play in the majors. Is this possible? I'd imagine Lahman's only has MLB data, not Negor League data, so the main problem would be adding the players to the import file. Anyone have any suggestions on a way to do this?

Also, I remeber seeing an FAQ on how to do an historical league. Can someone post that link?

There is a database with Negro League players in it.
The site I had bookmarked with the database on it doesn't exist anymore tho. I'm sure someone around here, has the database on their computer and would be glad to help you

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could post this database. I was actually going to go ahead and do this myself, but it is nice to see someone has already done it.

You have to take the Negro League database with a grain of salt. Since accurate statistics are difficult to find, only those of the star players are in the database. We are currently using the Negro Leaguers as part of our rookie pool in the All Century League. Many of them have imported with far superior ratings than their major league counterparts.
You may also need to do some tweaking of their ages as well. Based on their debut year, some of the players imported as a rookie in their mid 30's.
