Your thoughts on OOTP9 Mac version

So how do you guys Mac users out there think about the new game?

I personally love the improved sim-speed a lot!

Being a fictional player 90% of the time, it was always frustrating to have to bare with the inferior speed of Mac version with the previous releases. (I had tried the windows version before, so I knew it was a lot faster than Mac version)

I know there are some issues with the new game, but I wanna hear your thoughts (good/bad) on the OOTP 9 Mac version now.

I've come across a lot of bugs, some of which seem to be Mac-related, but yeah, the speed is incredible. I still have to go back to OOTP8 for my online league (maybe for a while if the issues don't get resolved ), and it seems really, really sluggish in comparison.

Best testing both versions for a while, and the Mac version is clearly faster. Love it!

I love it. The speed is soooooooo much better, though that could be because I bought a nice, shiny new Intel Mac to replace my six year old G4.

I have found one bug though...I have the Reds sitting in first place at 29-6. That HAS to be a bug.

It's awesome. You never know how much you'll miss using the scroll wheel on your mouse until you can't use it. Thank goodness it's back in OOTP9. I just finished playing my first season (won it all with an expansion team!) and had a blast.

Can't agree with you more.

I use MBP, and the two fingers scroll with the trackpad function makes everything so much easier!

I'm loving it. The speed is incredible. So much faster than the other version. I usually play single and not online so I can't speak for that but when I sim games it is lightening faster than before.

I'm very impressed so far. Speed is very good. I've been playing it when I have a free moment since release, and I can definitely say that besides the screen real estate difference on my PC, I have no real reason *not* to keep on buying the Mac versions.

I've already reported it in the tech section, but the only thing that drives me up the wall is the scroll bars not 'sticking'. I remember them fixing this problem in the PC version last year, but apparently it's back with either the new version or the Mac version. It's a pretty big annoyance when you're shopping a player around or going back and forth between the schedule screen and a box score.

Otherwise, I'm very happy with '09 on the Mac.
