Importance of High School/Coll Stats

I believe in future versions the HS/College farm base needs to be given much attention. Currently I believe their stats dont count towards their ratings.

Having 4 years of of HS stats and if attended College another 4 years could be compiled towards some sort of past record of stats being generated upon entering into the MLB farm system.

Having the level of compeition at the HS & college ranks would also need to be part of developing the rating process. Here in FL we use six A type HS systems. I believe College has 3 divisions again not sure.

Their potential should be rated on how quickly they progressed during their school years. While a random % could be placed into the potential data equation.

OOTP 07 added the use of HS & College players but it was a incomplete work. My personal opinion is that HS/Coll is one of the biggest neglected features of the game.

Have it where you actually want to participate in the draft. A Mel Kiper type analysis for each pick with their HS/Coll stats given as a presentation would draw me to much of the draft.

I know this post should've been in a new features area (not one for 10 currently) but i didn't purchase 09 and i do want to support ootp as in the past but serious new features needs to be addressed before i can walk away from 07.
