I am getting ready to start working on creating my own league, and I was wondering if I could get some help. What is it that I need to zip up into the league file? Is it just everything that is in the league folder, or is there some things in there that don't need to be.

For the initial teamset you are sending out to the league I would go ahead and zip everything up. This gives the owners the logos, photos, and all game files. From that sim forward, go ahead and zip everything, but before you send it out delete any file that does not show the date of the latest sim. I use WinZip (free) and it is very easy to do this. Zip everything, list by date, delete everything that doesn't say 11/3/02 (if you were doing it today). That keeps the league file to a minimum while giving everyone all the files that have changed. The player.dat file is the one that adds all of the bulk to your zip size. It starts out relatively small, but as the season progresses (and stats build up) it gets huge. You HAVE to send it out.
Good luck with the new league.
