OK, I have a bit of a dilemma. I've got a 30's/ 40's fictional solo league and I have a few teams that are logo-less.

Here's the catch, though - most of the logos I DO have, I've had to mix-and-match because a lot of the existing logos are too modern and/ or too stupid. I mean, not to knock the creators of the logos, since I can't, but it seems very difficult to find simple, non-extravagant logos for teams with nicknames as simple as "Stars" or "Unions." For the most part, I've been sucessful in finding logos to use (I mostly credit the cephasjames collection, as well as a few of the historical minor league uniforms I've been able to pilfer and use as if they were my teams' uniforms).

Like I said, I have a Mac and no simple editing software so sometimes it's a matter as simple as not finding the color I like (for some reason Macs don't have a Paint).

OK, I'm talking way too much. The point is, I'd be much appreciated if you could help me out with some of the logos that I can't find ANYTHING to make do with.

-Anchorage North Stars (blue and gold - the Alaska flag, essentially. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a simple star logo, much less a city from Alaska jersey logo. I always envisioned them with just a simple gold star on their caps, and maybe one on their jersey breasts as well.)
-Boston Olympics (green and white - I always thought it would be cool to have a shamrock on the hat and /or jersey...or just a cool-looking green "O". I always envisioned them as being like the Philadelphia A's - they don't even use "Boston" or "B's" on their jersey because they're so well known as the "O's"...if that makes sense...)
-Fresno Growers (As in "Grape Growers" - green and purple, nothing specific in mind)
-Memphis Pharaohs - (blue and yellow - Again, I had a whale of a time finding a tasteful Egyptian-flavored logo. Which is to say, the one "Pharaoh" logo I did find had something that looked like it walked out of the Brendan Frasier "Mummy" film on it, which is the exact opposite of what I'm looking for. Maybe an Egyptain-looking font with a pyramid...just a triangle on the cap would do, really, and a cool jersey font.)
-Omaha Unions (red, white, and blue, pretty self-explanitory...the name is based on the Union Pacific Railroad, so a train theme would work, but isn't necessary, just a jersey logo with the word "Unions" would work fine.)
-Toronto Red Caps - (red and white - Again, self-explanatory. Anything Canadian.)

OK, that's about it. Sorry for so much. I'm just very picky, and these teams have sat without logos for waaay too long (6 in-game seasons, to be exact) and it's starting to annoy me. Thanks a bunch in advance.
