we are not hearing from battists much on this release like the last few releases?
Or is he busy doing the manual for OOTP 9? |

He is busy going insane I think. Takes all one's available resources to do that... unless you're me and then it's a short trip.

Your correct here, Steve is very busy trying to get the manual ready for OOTP9, He is still with us, just extreamly busy. On top of this, he is heavily involved with the Beta team.

Thing is, I thought Battist = Marc Duffy. Between his manual and chief tester duties, marketing and the "RTR" seems a bit much. Sounds like Steve has a lot on his plate...maybe he needs help.

This close to release of the game, I'd think it would be prudent to keep personal relationships at work to a minimum. It can be very distracting.

If this years manual will be anything like lasts, I can just picture him locked away in a room with a laptop, a pdf program and a coffee machine
