MLB in Buffalo

So...as a lifelong Orioles fan and a lifelong Buffalo area resident I get to see the O's tomorrow. Sad how poor my team has been for many years.
On the bright side most of my family is going as well. They had a flash sale and tickets were $34 which included taxes and fees. I believe the sale goes through July 4th. games.
So if you'd like to see a game in a beautiful minor league field, make the trek here if possible.
Any questions just ask.
And.... I will even tell you my favorite spot for WINGS.
Be safe.

I love the feel of a nice minor league park. Big league parks are great, but there's something special about the minors. Enjoy the game.

I was stationed in the Air Force near Omaha, Nebraska, and went and saw many games at Rosenblatt Stadium. It was the AAA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. GREAT teams, with George Brett, and Amos Otis.

I agree about minor league parks. I think it is feeling closer to the action and the smaller stadium. It feels more personal.

Have fun! I have many relatives in Buffalo. Maybe some of them will be there.

Yeah, Buffalo has its share of problems. In some ways more than Cleveland. But pleasant family memories have a way of making you love a place in spite of its flaws.

When we were children we would always spend Thanksgiving in Buffalo at the home of my great-grandparents. It always started snowing as we drove through Pennsylvania. Always.

Wonderful memories of my great-grandfather in his bathrobe and slippers watching cartoons on TV with us.

And sometimes we would visit in the summer. Fond memories in the late 1960s of friendly arguments with my cousin about Bills vs Browns.

I wish I could go back to that time.

A number of my relatives there when I was growing up are gone now, sad to say.
