Fairly dependable crash...

Before explaining, because I have purchased every OOTP product I feel I have the right to say that 2007 and OOTP 8 are the "most" fragile computer games of any kind I have ever owned. Crashes occur when I click on a name on any HTML screen. For example, say I am lookin at the transaction page and i click on a name of a player that was promoted from AA to AAA just to learn more about him and I get the usual "microsoft has detected and error and must close" message. Of course everything is lost since the last save. This was bad with 2007 and I never could get past 4 or 5 years in my solo leagues without a file becoming so corrupted that I had to just delete the league and start again. I took 2007 off my computer for ever and bought OOTP 8 in hopes things were better. As long as I just sim and don't do anything else, every thing is fine. But that is not what I purchased. Please stableize this game for OOTP 9 which I have perordered. You did it for 6.5, the last dependable offering IMHO, so why not now. I'm afraid that game 9 is going to be a freaking disaster requiring 3 or 4 patches before it becomes reasonably playable. I'm still buying though.

Are you seeing this behavior only with Quickstarts? Does it happen if you are playing newly created fictional leagues?
