Playoff Sweeps
In my solo leagues I always make the 1st round best of 7. I've never felt that 5 game series were fair to the better team. I've played variations of MLB set ups since v5 and never seen four sweeps like this.

uncanny! I've never seen anything like that either. The closest thing that I can compare it to is my rival Brooklyn Dodgers sweeping me in the World Series 6 years in a row, the 7th year I lost in 6.
Which team is yours? who ended up winning it all?

I've had two-round playoffs where every series was a sweep a few times. I know I've had three-rounders where the first round was all sweeps at least once, but certainly not often.

BTW Atlanta was last years WS Champion and won 101 games this year only to be bounced by the wild card team.

I recently had a league where a team that won over 130 games (out of 162) was swept in the first round of the playoffs by a team that won less than 90 games. It was probably the biggest upset I've ever seen in OOTP. The 130-win team was pretty much an all-star team.

The second round results were just as surprising.
Somehow I don't expect a sweep in the WS.

2060 and the Cubs lose the series... have they won earlier at least or are they going for 200 years?

LOL I had to check. They won in 2006. That's like a stick in the eye. I simulated this league until 2020 before taking over a team. They've lost 4 other times since then.

Also of note there is the White Sox greatness in even numbered years from 2018-2026. Just curious, did they keep that streak going after 2026? |
