No ball on broadcast TV

I just checked the MLB page and neither of todays games is scheduled for broadcast TV. What a pisser!

I remember a couple of years ago when FOX and NBC broadcast all the games. Baseball on TV from the time I got home from work till I went to bed. Glorious.

Are "Firefly" and "John Doe" really that popular?

ABC Family is broadcasting them. Its a farely large channel that I know of. I guess you don't get it there though.

ABC Family is a cable channel last I knew... I believe he was talking about the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, UPN, WB).

ABC Family is a cable channel. It is relatively new, and not all cable providers have it.

I'm upset about this, because it makes it difficult to watch my Twins play from here in Durham, NC.

This is the worst overall broadcast of playoff games that I can ever remember. It's ridiculous that they are spread across 3 or 4 different channels with seemingly no pattern as to which game is on which channel. And no national broadcast on Friday or Saturday night is just unbelievable! I heard on the radio that ratings have been down this year... well no wonder, there's no consistency as to which channel the games will be on.... not to mention games being started at 11:10 EST. I'm able to watch all the games on all the channels, but the setup is just extremely annoying to me and I can imagine how lesser fans would get frustrated with not being able to find the game and then not watch it. I hope whoever is in charge wakes up and fixes the playoff broadcast for next season... and just maybe the Cubs will be there! I can dream, can't I?

Are you sure it was called ABC Family? With all the ESPN logos plastered around the screen and along with the horrendous Joe Morgan I'm not so sure.

Isn't The Score a radio network?

In Québec, we have a playoff game everyday on RDS, the sports network. Today (Saturday) there will actually be 3 games being broadcasted... poor announcers!

here's my broadcast TV nightmare: Game 1 of the playoffs...Fox here in AZ is showing the Yankees / Angels game...great game, 4-4 tie in the 8th. So what happens? They cut away to go to the hometown D'backs game, which is already being broadcasted on ABC Family. They didn't have a broadcast..basically just pumped ABC's signal through their channel. It had ABC logo's everywhere! So..now, I have 2 channels with the same game,
and can't see the end of the Yankees game.

That's home cookin.

Could be, but there's a channel on TV called The Score as well.

Today, there's a game on ABC Family, Fox, and FX.
