September 21st in hicksville, Queebek, Patrice L'Hereux the Granite Flab, er, Slab, matched all his 6' 5" 265 lbs and stirling 21-4-1 (12 KOs) record against the might of Stephane Tessier (5' 10" and 240 pounds) and his fearsome 3-12-0. It was a tough slog, but L'Hereux danced his way to a unanimous decision, using Tessier's head as a football.

Paul Mbongo, formerly of Cameroon, won a 6 rounder from Abraham Okine the 270 pound Ghanian from Pittsburgh.

Gee. I almost wish I coulda been there.

Bummer, man! I just bought a new dog sled at Canadian Tire and today it's 30 degrees outside. That's hot to you folks south of the Medicine Line.
