I don't get this ...

If payroll is $239,954 and the budget is $251,590, how is there budget deficit of $24,514???

That is the projected budget. They are looking at the rest of the year and based on your income they expect you to lose 24k.

I can barely read the info in the screen shot, but it does look like you've already spent 36k on staff (fired them?)... you have a budget of 251k, your payroll currently sits at 239k, but you've already spent 36k... that's about 25k over budget.

did you relese someone with a multi-year contract? I could see thier contract then being subtacted from the budget and since thier isn't a line item for it being hidden.

It is hard to read, but if this is the first year of the league sometimes those numbers are off also

Yes, this is it. The $36K of staff payroll relates to my attempt to move the minor league franchise. Instead of simply changing the name of team I wanted the current affiliate to be defunct and replaced by a new affiliate. To do that I had to create a new team, to which OOTP automatically creates and assigns coaches. I guess in the future I need to fire these folks first before affiliating them with the new team.
