MY GOD !!! ANGELS Bring in Percival... FINALLY

Angels bring in Closer Percival... FINALLY.

You win or lose with your best pitcher on the mound late.

Sit down Jeter.

It was a Strike. Swing the bat next time.

Seems like he did just fine.

Gave up a run, but picked up the save.

My Angels finally win! Just to think that they could have won last night. Going to be tough to win two in Anaheim but I think they have a shot. It's time for the hated Yankee's run to end and what better way than for a California team to do it

As much as I hate Jeter, that wasn't close to a strike, Fox needs to steal the K-Zone idea.

it was outside, but that pitch had been called ALL night long. Gotta protect in that spot and know the zone.

Swing the bat Jeter and you don't have to worry about what the ump says.

Pussy B (Jeter) had been backed off the plate when Pussy A (Soriano) was slammed in the back by a 100-mph fastball from demi-God C (Percival).

shouldnt matter if it were a strike or not...Jeter should be swingin. you dont take pitches that close late in the game. i respect the fact that jeter understands the importance of taking the walk and gettin on base instead of tryin to hit the big homerun, but then again maybe he should have thought about that when he swung for the fences on the first 98 mph high fastball from percival.

also, Troy Percival is the best closer the Yanks have faced during their playoff run (since 1995). No other team had a quality proven hard throwing closer like Percival -- Trevor Hoffman is the closest to maybe being on the list -- The Yanks can not let themselves fall behind like they did in Game 2. There will be no late game heroics against Percival. It would never happen.
